THE PRIZE OF PEACE HAS NEVER BEEN PEACEFUL ! It seems so! Thisyear the nobel peace prize has been bestowed upon an organization than any individual and the very nature in terms of the track records in recent memory ,has created lots of furore ! The Behemoth Organization Is 'EUROPEAN UNION' .
The nobel peace committee of Norway headed by the ex-premier of the country, Mr. Thorbejorn Jagland , has painted a glowing picture of The European Union (EU) saying the utility it served and continues to do so all through the seven decades after the second world war.
He Cited The Great Achievement of EU In Maintaining Peace After The War .The Lasting Peace In The Continent Has Been Declared As Pivotal In Integrating Diverse Opinions And People Inside Europe.
The Holy Act Of Bringing Two Arch Rivals,FRANCE and GERMANY,Together And Effecting Peace Thereafter ,Has Been Pointed As The Mainstay Behind The Largely Peaceful Continent In The Last Over Than Sixty Years!
EUROPEAN UNION IS GOING THROUGH THE MOST CHALLENGINGPLUS TRYING TIMES AS IT CONTINUES TO GRAPPLE WITH THE WORST KIND OF RECESSION SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION AND ANY NEAR HOPE OF BETTERMENT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE IN SIGHT !
